Crying is a universal behavior. We all know what it feels like to cry. It’s overwhelming. It’s uncomfortable. It’s raw. It’s such a vulnerable feeling because we shed ourselves when we shed our tears. What leaves the body is an accumulation of emotions, transitioning from inner turmoil to outward expression. It is only when we understand what emotions we’re releasing that we can fully understand ourselves.
The Color of Tears, sets out to take a deeper look at the root of our tears by provoking the subject to contemplate the ordinarily unexamined emotions behind them. Using a spectrum of colors, we dissect each story, in order to tell the breadth of each story.
